The story of MŌDO-E

Welcome to MŌDO-E , where originality meets customization .

MŌDO-E finds its origins in 2019 when Ludivine and Brook, during their trip to Japan, were inspired by the designs and clothes present in the city of Tokyo (and in particular in the Harajuku district), the two partners decided once back in France to embark on their own adventure and create their own clothing brand.

Indeed, Ludivine and Brook, beyond their distinct personalities and styles, come together in their desire to dress in an atypical, original style that is unique to them.
Taking advantage of Brook's graphic skills and Ludivine's commercial side, they created their first designs and set up the beginnings of their boutique.

However, the global event that awaited them the following year, better known as COVID-19, put a brutal stop to all their plans!

4 years later, still united by this love of fashion and style coupled with an originality that is unique to them : they decide to put back on track to launch this brand project that is so close to their hearts !

This is how MŌDO-E was created in 2023!

As a lover of Japanese culture, the name "Mōdo-e" (モード絵)" in Japanese could be a combination of "fashion" (モード) and "image" (絵) , which could be translated as "the image of fashion" , perfectly matching this desire to create clothes with original style and patterns .
